Elf shenanigans day 2

Welcome to the family Nugget

This is the first year for us Santa sent an elf to our house. Nolan has named him nugget. The choices went like this Prince, Casey, Silly, then Nugget. 

Day 1: Nugget brought us an activity to do! Christmas trees out of ice cream cones 

25 days of Christmas books

Each year I wrap 25 Christmas books and let the kids pick one to unwrap and read each night. This year I added number tags we can reuse since Nolan is learning his numbers he can find that one as we count down to Christmas!

Fall has come and gone

In the midst of working a full time job, being a wife and being a mommy. My posts and blog has not received much attention from me lately! So here is a summary October is always my favorite month of all times. Being a midwest girl it was when the leaves would start falling, you open your windows to enjoy the cool air, pumpkins and fall decorations come out and last you go apple picking!

In Dallas you don't get the full effect of the seasons but I still love October.

Now I look at Layla and Nolan and I ask myself when did you get so big!!
