Learning to swim

This summer you had your first swimming lesson without a parent in the pool. Day 1 you cried for the entire time, not because you were afraid of the water but because mommy couldn't be in the fenced area where you could see me. Day 2 you and all 5 of your friends cried for the first 5 minutes and then no more crying for the next 2 weeks! In the 2 week period you learned to kick, scoop your arms, put your head under water, swim to the bottom pick up toys, jump off the side of the pool and your favorite jump of the diving board! After the first day you cried you got in the car and said "mommy I had fun!" You are a little alligator in the water, you asked me not to call you a fish but an alligator.
