1 month old

It is so hard to believe that one month has already gone by. Layla you are such a good baby and we are so thankful for that because two kids under two is a lot harder than I thought. Your brother loves and adores you but is having a hard time sharing his mommy time. So we are so thankful you are not much of a crier and have been very patient!

Mommy and Nolan

I'm still trying to sneak in one on one time with my little man when I can. This morning we went and got donuts, fed the ducks and played at the park.

Siblings love

Nolan has been head over heels in love with his little sister since she has come home. He is very helpful in getting her blankets, changing diapers and giving her a bath. He is still struggling with not having mommy all to himself but nothing but love and lots of hugs and kisses for Layla.

Boomer Sooner

We are ready for football season in the Connor household. My newest hobby is making wreaths and what a better way to start than with an OU one!

My TWO Grandmas

Our first visitors were Grandma Dawn, Aunt Maizi, and Great Grandma Evelyn. As Nolan referred to them "two grandmas". They arrived late Saturday night so Nolan was sleeping and didn't get to see them. When he woke up Sunday morning he looked outside and say Grandma Dede's car, "grandmas car, grandmas car" every time he heard something he ran to the front door to make sure grandma was still here.

It was a great week we got to spend with them. Lots of relaxing time to snuggle with Miss Layla and teach Nolan new things. Both Grandma Dawn and Great Grandma helped Nolan with his meals, I don't think he has ever eaten so much food in one week! If only he would eat like that everyday. As Grandma Dawn taught him "yes" with his arm in the air after every bite he took it became a game and he was proud to be eating.
